In May we attended the Movimiento 13 National Dance Competition in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. Our first-year Spanish Dance students won Second Group Prize in Spanish Dance and Flamenco Dance, and Best Choreographic Idea in Spanish Dance and Flamenco Dance, with the piece “Te quiero porque te quiero” by teacher Virginia Murcia.

In Classical Dance, Daniela Soneira, a third-year professional student, won Second Prize in Classical Dance in the youth category and the Award for Best Dancer in the same category.

Paula Morales, in her fourth year of Elementary Education, was awarded Best Dancer in the children’s category.
