Collaborations

We collaborate with Music Conservatoires across the Community of Madrid, bringing students from both institutions together to share the stage and exchange experiences.
We perform works as part of the celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Day.
We collaborate with the María Pagés Choreographic Centre and Las Naves del Matadero.
We take part in showcases, festivals and charity concerts, such as the event organised by the Adolfo Salazar Conservatoire at the Auditorio Nacional on 12 May 2018 to raise funds for the Aldea Plus Project through UNICEF.
We collaborate with social organisations such as Jairo Sanoja, Hocelo, Puerta de Hierro and Instituto de Caridad Escuelas, as well as charitable institutions including the Montserrat Residential Home for Older People and the Manzanares Centre for Older People.

Cultural Week

We open the door to a wide range of activities that give students a broad, vibrant and diverse perspective on the world of dance. Guest teachers and specialists from a range of disciplines, including Theatre, Jazz and Lyric Dance, as well as nutrition talks and discussions with invited artists.
A Choreography Competition that gives students the opportunity to express themselves and develop their creative potential; the winning piece is performed as part of the Educational Performance or the Professional Studies Workshop.
A Christmas Card Competition for Elementary Dance Studies students, featuring music- and dance-inspired designs. The winning entries receive C.P.D. Fortea clothing and accessories.
And, as a key part of the programme, the Elementary Dance Studies Christmas Showcase takes place outside the Conservatoire, alongside a Professional Studies showcase presented for Elementary Dance Studies students. A Flamenco Zambomba featuring all Flamenco Dance students, accompanied by their musicians — this year in Puerta del Sol.

Open Days

We offer visitors the opportunity to observe the daily work carried out by our students in the classroom. Our Open Days are aimed at parents, guardians, families and prospective students with an interest in dance who would like to discover our facilities, meet our teachers and gain an insight into what their training at our conservatoire would be like.
Beyond the Classroom

Extracurricular Activities

Our students regularly attend a wide range of performances, concerts, exhibitions, talks and discussions that are relevant to their interests. These experiences enrich and strengthen our curriculum, bringing the values of the cultural and artistic world into their training.

Holistic Wellbeing

Saludable3 Programme

The Saludable3 Programme aims to support students’ overall wellbeing by promoting their physical, mental and nutritional health throughout their dance training. It is based on three key pillars:
1. Psychological wellbeing: Mental health and emotional wellbeing.
2. Physical wellbeing: Physical health, injury prevention and physical performance.
3. Nutritional wellbeing: Healthy eating and appropriate dietary habits.
This programme aims to equip dancers with the tools they need to develop sustainably and meet the challenges of their training and future careers.
