Dancer, choreographer, teacher and researcher specialising in rhythm and improvisation. At the age of 18, she moved to Madrid, where she developed her professional career with companies led by Carmen Cortés, Manolete, Antonio Canales, El Güito, Rafael Amargo, Belén Maya, Joaquín Grilo, Manuel Liñán, Marcos Flores, Olga Pericet, Arrieritos and Rocío Molina, among others, while also performing at some of Madrid’s leading tablaos. She is a founding member of the Arrieritos Company, with which she received two Max Awards for the Performing Arts for 13 Rosas (2007): Best Choreography and Best Production. She currently runs her own tablao, Las Carboneras.
