Cuban arts manager, dancer and artistic director, recognised as one of the leading figures of his generation. With more than 22 years of international experience, he has performed in over 29 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
He currently directs the Acosta Dance Foundation and the Acosta Dance Centre in the United Kingdom, institutions dedicated to professional training, artistic creation and the promotion of dance from an international and multicultural perspective.
Alongside his work as a teacher and arts manager, he develops projects in cultural diplomacy and international collaboration, working with companies, choreographers and artists from different countries. He is also the founder of WeDance Agency and co-director of the Alafia Festival, the United Kingdom’s largest Afro-Cuban dance festival.
