Fifth- and sixth-year Classical Dance students attended the Repertoire Workshop led by Goyo Montero at the Centro de Danza Matadero in May.

Goyo Montero, director of the Staatsballet Hannover, presented his work “Goldberg” on the Matadero stage during those days. He is one of the most prominent choreographers of his generation, closely linked to Acosta Danza as resident choreographer and creator of works for companies such as The Royal Ballet London, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the Finnish National Ballet, and the Ballet del Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires, among others.

Goyo Montero has a long-standing relationship with the Prix de Lausanne as a regular member of the jury.
