He began his training with Luis Fuente, later continuing his studies with Carmen Roche — whom he considers his principal teacher — as well as Ana Baselga and Lola de Ávila. He developed his career as a professional dancer with leading international companies, including Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and the London Festival Ballet. He holds a PhD in Humanities, Arts and Education Research from the University of Castilla-La Mancha and is Professor of Classical Dance at the María de Ávila Professional Conservatoire of Dance, where he teaches Methodology and Didactics of Classical Dance Teaching.
