She began studying classical dance at the age of twelve with Mme Renée Bay in France. At seventeen, she moved to Madrid, where she continued her training with Conchita Huarte and developed a vocation for teaching. She later broadened her studies with Ana Lázaro, Luis Fuente and José Granero, and further refined her training through international courses with teachers including Bojan Spassoff, Stanley Williams, Rosella Hightower, Sulamith Messerer, Solange Golovine, Kiss Nora, David Howard and Kirsten Ralov.

As a performer, she built a distinguished career as a soloist and principal dancer with companies including Ballets Clásicos y Contemporáneos de Madrid, Ballet Concierto, Ballet de Luis Fuente, Ballet Español de Madrid, Staatstheater Kassel and Scapino Ballet in Amsterdam.

She has devoted much of her career to teaching, training dancers who have gone on to perform with national and international companies, including the Ballet Nacional, Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Royal Danish Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, The Royal Ballet in London, and the ballet companies of Geneva, Lyon, Lucerne, Basel and Uruguay.

Teacher at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza “Mariemma” and guest teacher at institutions including Cristina Hielscher, Ana Lázaro, Carmen Roche, Víctor Ullate, Carmen Senra, Marta de la Vega, the Escuela Profesional de Danza de Valladolid, the Escuela Mayor de Danza de Madrid, and the professional conservatoires of Alicante, Córdoba, Murcia, Granada and Almería.
