She began her training at the Víctor Ullate School in Madrid and graduated with distinction from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. In 2001, she began her professional career as a dancer with the Royal Ballet of Flanders, where she rose to the rank of soloist and worked with leading international choreographers including William Forsythe, Marcia Haydée and Jiří Kylián.
In 2013, she left the company to focus on choreography and teaching. She has since created and restaged numerous works for institutions including the Royal Ballet of Flanders, the Compañía Nacional de Danza, Ballet de Santiago and the Royal Ballet School Antwerp.
In 2019, she was appointed Associate Artistic Director, Ballet Director and Resident Choreographer of Junior Ballet Antwerp. In 2026, she created Horizon, a completely new work tailored to the company’s current group of artists, and restaged YU for the young dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet.
