Professional Programme

Choreographic Workshop

Students in the final years of all three specialisms have the privilege of working and learning with leading choreographers invited to our annual Choreographic Workshop. This represents an important step forward in their training, challenging our dancers to bring talent, energy and professional-level performance to these annual productions.

Choreographers such as Carlos Valcárcel, a teacher with some of the world’s leading ballet companies; Muriel Romero, currently Director of the Compañía Nacional de Danza; María Pagés, Antonio Canales and Mercedes Ruiz, renowned masters of Flamenco Dance; Antonio Najarro, former Director of the Ballet Nacional de España; Estela Alonso, a dancer with the company; Carlos Romero and Tania Martín, outstanding performers; and Rafael Rivero and Fernando Lázaro, teachers and choreographers of Contemporary Dance, are among the distinguished artists we have the privilege of welcoming.

Educating Through Art

Educational Performances

We believe in education through culture and in strengthening the place of dance by introducing audiences to its different styles. Through a format specially designed for primary school pupils, who actively participate in the performance, we promote culture through our art while showcasing the dedication and talent of our young dance students. “Guess Them”, “Let’s Dance!” and “The Colours of Dance” are among the educational performances we offer.

Open Conservatoire

School Workshops

We bring dance closer to primary school pupils in their own schools. Our students and teachers visit to deliver a workshop combining demonstration and practical classwork. In this way, we aim to contribute to children’s artistic and creative development while establishing our conservatoire as a leading reference for Elementary Dance Studies in Madrid.

End of Stage

Professional Studies Workshop

We bring each academic year’s learning process to a close with three performances in which every student takes to the stage to present their dances and celebrate the effort, daily work and progress achieved throughout the year.

First Steps

Professional Studies Workshop

A biennial performance for these studies: a magical and special occasion when some of our young dancers take to the stage for the very first time, bringing all the excitement and energy of their dancing with them.
