As part of the “Medicine and Dance” program, our colleague Daniel Vizcayo, psychologist in the Student Care Department and teacher at the Conservatory, was one of the speakers in the event’s round-table discussions.<\/p>\n\n

Daniel Vizcayo shared the panel with professionals such as Mar\u00eda Pag\u00e9s and El Arbi El Harti, directors of the Centro Danza Matadero; dancer and choreographer Joaqu\u00edn de Luz; Arnaud Mahouy, general secretary of the Centre Chor\u00e9graphique National \u2013 Malandain Ballet Biarritz; Florent Cheymol, psychologist for the Paris Opera Ballet and the French Gymnastics Federation; Sabine Oxandaburu, project coordinator at the Institut Danse Sant\u00e9; \u00c0ngels Margarit, dancer, choreographer, teacher, and curator; Nieves Portas, dancer, choreographer, and teacher; Roger Salas, dance and ballet critic for the newspaper El Pa\u00eds; Manuel Leyes, traumatologist and orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine; Ra\u00fal Torres, orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip surgery; and Nazareth Castellanos, graduate in Theoretical Physics and PhD in Neuroscience.<\/p>\n\n
